For instance, cement dust is one of the top hazards of working with concrete crushing. When an employee is exposed to this cement dust, do you know what to do? If it is in the eyes, you rinse their eyes with water immediately and call a physician for an urgent ocular exam. If the dust is on their skin, use soap and water to get it off in order to avoid damage to the skin. Protect your lungs and respiratory system by wearing a P-, N-, or even an R-95 respirator at all times. This last one seems common sense, but do not eat or drink in dust filled or contaminated areas.

These are only a few little things to keep you safe in the cement working world. There are hazards associated with west concrete, guarding of the machines, falling items, ergonomics and confined areas, and vehicles and the proper uses of them. these are all areas that you should make certain you and your team are all well versed on before stepping foot on any active job site.
