The Concrete Recycling Sacramento Plants Reported For 2014: Not Enough
When you think of South Dakota do you think of the conventions, the tourism, or the vacation spots? I know that is what my thoughts would be about. Your first thought is probably not how the city itself dominated the percentage of concrete recycling Sacramento was able to report this past 2014. California might feel a little shame had it not been for the fact that the South Dakota plants put every state in the nation to shame with their record breaking numbers!
It is always nice to encourage fellow recycling centers on their progress. This is because concrete recycling is not only a hard and rewarding job, but also it can build you up a community and as a person. When you see that not only are recycling centers concerned with the waste not ending up in the landfills they are also concerned with the pollution from the fuel used. That is why generally the recycling happens right on site. Most often times when streets are widened old concrete is used before new concrete is poured. It is crushes right there on site and poured into the new surface.
From the persons paying taxes to the garbage and concrete haulers, everyone nationwide is happy that more and more cities and states are adopting new concrete recycling guidelines. It does not just stop there either. Now shingles from businesses and homes are being recycled as well and used in the asphalt. They are actually melted down and mixed directly with the asphalt before it is poured.
From north to south and east to west the recycling community is coming together. As one of the largest plants that sees the beginning to end of all concrete recycling Sacramento experiences I can say, it is a wonderful thing to see. The more that is recycled is less that is dumped into landfills and that is the end result I love to see!
